Today, I will not write about Physics, but rather write about myself being around nature. It is always wonderful to look around and gaze at the sky or river or the mountain. It brings an immense amount of peace and serenity within me. I feel like though I was around nature but couldn't feel until I was left alone. The observation put me in the chain of thoughts that sometimes also make me lost somewhere. Definitely, it's the climate and pollution, we must do something to make it stay always beautiful.

I finally learned to use the chopstick to eat Korean noodles after a few attempts. The picture showing the noodle trapped between the chopsticks reminds a fundamental principle that DeGennes invoke to understand entangled polymer. In Soft-Matter Physics, polymers are often modeled as a long curly chain that gets entangled. The noodles dip in the soup is the best analog of polymer in a solution. If the noodles are shorter chain then they don't get entangle and if they are long-chain they can entangle.  This property is very similar to what is known for the polymer in a solvent. A idle boat at the entrance of Ilsan beach Today I visited Ilsan beach located in the south of the Republic of Korea, the atmosphere was soothing with a beautiful ambiance. I was passing through the coast and taking the pictures of surroundings. I notice two important phenomena quite familiar in Soft Matter Physics - (i) granular dilation and (ii) Hydrodynamic instability. Ripples on the surface of the sand in the beach (hydrodynamic instability)   Human foot mark on the surface of the sand in the beach (Granular dilation)  I was amazed, though I went to sea beaches several times but never experience such joy. In granular physics, researchers are trying to understand the shear-induced expansion of granular material and the formation of ripples due to the granular flow. I have visited one of the Buddhist temples named Jeong Gwangsu temple located in the suburb of Ulsan. The temple was five-storied with fifth, fourth and third being the prayer halls and rest are the offices. The architecture of the building was very fabulous with beautiful handwork and sculpting all around the building. Though I am also a Buddhist (follow the Vajrayana tradition of Tibetan Buddhism), the architecture and paintings on the walls representing some Buddhist mythology look completely alien to me. Moreover, the religious protocol was also different compared to what was known to me. But I must say that the location of the temple was very much soothing. I feel like visiting the temple always. I too recommend people visiting Ulsan to visit this temple. I attach the photo of the outer view of temple and the rooftop. Though the temple was small compare to usual monastery setting which contains the residence for the monks and nuns.
